The Best Solution. Hands Down.
Dental practices are under constant assault by hackers for very good reasons: patient data is valuable and dental practices are perceived to have deep pockets. To protect your practice, your patients, and your bottom line (see ZDNET's article about ransomers targeting dental practices here), you need a backup and data recovery solution that's second-to-none. One that will keep your data secure, and will make it easy for you to get up and running in the event of a disaster.
Our backup solution is the best on the market, and it costs less than our competitors' less desirable offerings.
Here's How It Works
Step 1
We install a specially-built computer on your network called a BDR. Each and every hour, this computer grabs your data from your network, encrypts it, and stores multiple copies of the data on redundant hard drives. The BDR is able to back up files and databases in real time, even while they're in use by you and your staff.
Step 2
Each evening, after business hours, our system makes a full encrypted backup of your data and uploads it to our secure and fully HIPAA compliant storage servers. Each backup is redundantly stored on multiple servers, each with redundant hard drives.
Step 3
After each backup job, the data is verified by our system to ensure that it is complete and healthy. If a backup job fails for any reason, our team is automatically notified and a manual verification process is triggered to ensure your data will be available for you in the case it needs to be restored.
If the Worst Happens
Just call, email, or text us. If you just need a file or two restored, we can do that immediately. If you need a full-system restore, it usually takes one to two days. In the meantime, we can get a cloud-based copy of your server up and running in just a couple of hours so you can get on your feet quickly.
Here's What It Costs
BDR Computer— $1,650
You own your BDR, which has a typical lifespan of five to eight years. Installation support is included.
Monthly Fee— $199
We charge an affordable monthly fee of $199 for up to 1TB of data. Our average client uses 0.58TB of storage.
Extra Data— $59/0.5TB per month
Some of our clients use up to 6TB of storage. You may be above average, too. If so, it won't break the bank to add some extra storage to your plan.
Here's How You Get Started
If you know how much storage you need:
Click the blue button to order our service. One of our engineers will contact you within one business day to schedule the BDR installation support, and to set up your plan.
If you're not sure how much storage you need:
Click the green button to schedule a consultation with one of our engineers. He or she will talk to you about your needs, and will set you up with exactly the storage amount you need.
Here's a Dirty Little Secret
There are many companies out there that provide backup products and other IT services to dental practices who don't implement even the most basic security in their own organizations (see the ZDNET article referenced above). Hackers use these companies to gain access to their clients' networks to install ransomware. Ironically, the companies that advertise their services as a way to safeguard files against ransomware attacks are the entryway of the attacks themselves.
At DDS Defense, we practice what we preach. Not only do we follow best practices when it comes to securing networks from hackers, we innovate new methods to prevent such attacks. Our methods are proprietary; we don't share them with anyone. This way, hackers don't know what our countermeasures are. When they don't know any of the variables, they can't solve the problem that prevents them from gaining access.
There is No Comparison
Most of our competitors publish a comparison chart between themselves and others. We opt not to do that for our clients' protection. Their data is the most valuable thing they own, and we take our responsibility to protect it very seriously.
Don't be fooled by fancy charts and graphs. Any time a competitor publishes their methods in detail, they're telling would-be hackers how to get in. Instead, schedule a consultation with us and we'll describe how we'll protect your data from disaster, whether it be natural or man-made. Click on one of the buttons below to get started.
